treatment options available today, Dr. Delia Garcia is dedicated to
understanding and examining the patient as a whole. She is a leading advocate
of the mind/body approach and teaches cancer prevention through the maintenance
of a healthy and balanced lifestyle, including sound nutrition, weight
management and stress reduction.

An Illinois
native, Dr. Garcia is a certified health coach and radiation oncologist who has
practiced in the St. Louis
community for more than 25 years. Listed in America 's Top-Rated Physicians,
she has established a reputation as a leading expert in breast cancer. She was
recognized by her peers for Best Doctors in America
and is a Fellow of the American
College of Radiology, a
distinction awarded to only 15% of radiologists.
Dr. Garcia received her training in radiation oncology at Washington
University in St. Louis where she served as an associate
professor from 1984 through 1992. She is board certified and is a member of
several professional organizations including the American Society of
Therapeutic Radiologists, American College of Radiology, Greater St. Louis Radiological
Society, American
College of Radiation
Oncology, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Garcia is an active and dedicated member of the St. Louis community and sits on the advisory
board of the Wellness Community of Greater St. Louis and Susan G. Komen
Foundation (Race for the Cure). She lectures extensively on health,
wellness and disease prevention and is the author of numerous abstracts,
publications, and book chapters.
Dr. Garcia is the proud mother of three talented children, Alex, Nelsy and
Andrew. Her hobbies include decorating, gardening, cooking, exercise and
travel. Her home and garden have been featured in several decorating
magazines and gardening books.
